We are currently seeking motivated individuals with exceptional communication and leadership skills to join our team. We require Environmental Technicians with proven interpersonal and technical skills, knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Regulations. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, conducting hazardous substances surveys, conducting compliance audits & environmental site investigations, conducting water and soil sampling, and providing recommendations for remedial action. Environmental consulting experience is an asset but not essential.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- B.Sc. degree or College Diploma in Environmental Sciences or Engineering, or related science field
- Minimum two years experience in conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Hazardous Materials inspections is required
- Strong leadership skills coupled with a ‘team player’ attitude
- Commitment to professional excellence
- Highly effective communication and report writing skills
- Must have a valid Ontario drivers license
- Able and willing to occasionally work during non-regular business hours, including weekends
- Advanced degree or diplomas in environmental science or engineering field would be an asset

(Temporaire 1 an; temps plein)
Gestion Environnementale T.harris (G.E.T.H) est à la recherche d'un(e) hygiéniste du travail pour joindre son expertise à celles des autres membres de son équipe.
Relevant du Directeur général et en collaboration avec le Directeur,
hygiène industrielle, vous :
Serez responsable
- du développement des programmes et des services en hygiène industrielle que nous offrons à nos clients (qualité de l'air, moisissures, bruit, etc.), et
- de l'application des services en hygiène industrielle pour nos clients.
Participez
- à des audits de qualité de l'air, contamination de moisissures, produits dangereux et
- à des projets en enlèvement de moisissures, produits dangereux et d'amiante (en ce qui a trait à la surveillance, au contrôle de l'air, etc.) et
- à l'analyse par microscopie à contraste de phase des échantillons prélevés ainsi que la rédaction des rapports.
Qualifications :
- Baccalauréat en hygiène industrielle ou en sciences avec 3 ans d'expérience comme hygiéniste du travail (une maîtrise en hygiène industrielle avec 2 ans d'expérience comme hygiéniste du travail est jugée équivalente)
- Facilité avec l'informatique (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, CAD, Outlook Express)
- Connaissances en méthodes d'échantillonnage en hygiène, de la réglementation SST et SIMDUT

- Capacité et aptitude à travailler dans des environnements variés et en évolution;
- Grande autonomie avec une capacité à travailler dans une équipe qui compte sur la synergie de ses membres;
- Bon esprit analytique et résolution de problèmes
- Facilité à obtenir, colliger et valider de l'information;
- Aptitudes pour gérer des projets;
- Aptitude à travailler dans des situations stressantes et demandant une rapidité d'exécution;
- Bon sens de l'organisation;
- Communication verbale et écrite, en français et en anglais, excellente
